When Prodigal matches you with your saint, you receive their card — painted, named, yours. And you can give it away: to the friend who needs Jude, the mother praying like Monica, the son who left like Augustine.

Holy cards have passed hand to hand for centuries. These just found a new pocket to live in.

Giving is in the foundation.

Prodigal gives from its own revenue to Catholic relief work. Not a checkout add-on, not a donate button — a share of every subscription, given by us, from the first month onward. When you walk with Prodigal, your walk quietly carries someone else's.

And a promise about what this is made of: every line in Prodigal is drawn from Scripture, the saints' own words, and the prayers of the Church — chosen and reviewed by people. Nothing here is generated for you by a machine.

Who is building this.

I'm Alexander Meadowcroft. I started @prodigaldaily because the story of the prodigal son is the only story I've ever needed: you can come home. Prodigal, the app, is the same conviction with a front door — a way back that starts small, one line a day, one candle at a time.

I'm building it slowly and by hand: real saints, real prayers, no shortcuts. If any of it serves you, or someone you love — that's the whole point of it.
